Rescuing a Buyer

I had the opportunity to rescue a buyer who had made the mistake of choosing a large name bank for his lender. He found them to be completely unresponsive, slow, disinterested in getting his loan closed in a timely fashion. The straw that broke the camels back was when they missed his loan commitment date and made him a cash buyer on his contract. The seller was not interested in extending the loan commitment date since they had a very marketable house. We took the loan in on November 3rd and we will be closing this Friday at 1:00. On top of that we reduced his rate by .625% and did not charge him the 1% origination fee the large name bank was charging him.

Cornerstone has built its reputation on purchase business. We love doing refinances, but there is a simple fact; if there are no purchases then there will never be any refinances.

If you know anyone who has in a similar situation with a lender that is not meeting their expectations or is over charging them, please have them contact me. I promise to set realistic expectations, be fair and honest in pricing their loan and most importantly make you look good by referring the person to me.

Sincerely,

Chris
